Exotic birds and magnificent mammals won’t be the only ones showing their bright, beautiful true colors off at the S.B. Zoo (500 Niños Dr.) this weekend. On Saturday, March 27, our area wild animal establishment will host Gay Day at the Zoo—an afternoon of fun, pride-promoting activities to raise funds for the Pacific Pride Foundation. From 3-6 p.m., bring the whole family for animal exhibits and kids’ activities. Later in the evening, from 6-10 p.m., adult crowds will enjoy drinks, live deejays spinning, drag performances, and more. The invaluable S.B.-based nonprofit organization invites all who support equality to attend.

Admission is $12/general, $10/kids 13 and under. (Get $1 off admission by bringing one or more canned food items to donate to PPF.) Call 962-5339 or visit pacificpridefoundation.org for more info.
