First Annual Santa Ynez Valley Trails Day to Feature Guided Hikes, Tours Through Area’s Geographic Gems

Whether you’re a seasoned visitor, a resident, or you’ve never had the chance to explore the unique natural and geographical beauty of Santa Ynez Valley, this weekend offers many opportunities to explore the outdoors during the 1st Annual Santa Ynez Valley Trails Day. The valley’s Visitors Association, in conjunction with several regional nonprofit organizations, is hosting a full day of five guided hikes and walks through gorgeous trails. Ranging from 2 to 7 miles in length and accommodating individuals and families with beginner to advanced hiking skills, each hike begins between 8 and 9 a.m. on Saturday, June 5, at locations in Buellton, Solvang, and Santa Ynez. All hikes are led by an experienced volunteer tour guide; there is no charge for any of the day’s activities.
