School Board Incumbent Seeks Reelection

With two seats up for grabs this November on the five-member Santa Barbara School Districts’ Board of Education, incumbent Kate Parker announced this week that she is officially seeking re-election. The first to throw her hat in the ring, Parker—who is the only current school board member with children actively attending the district—is seeking her second term on the board. Board member Dr. Bob Noël’s term also ends this fall.
