Mike Stoker is more devious than I imagined. [Stoker is running as the Republican candidate for State Assembly, 35th District.] His first full-page mailer had Democratic endorsements on the back, one by [State Superintendent of Instruction] Jack O’Connell. I couldn’t believe it. Two days ago, I received a blanket-type phone message from O’Connell saying he endorsed only Das Williams.
I would hate to see a rerun to the Hannah-Beth Jackson/Andrea Strickland election with Das losing to that megalomaniac! Is there anything that can be done?
