Thu Jan 06, 2011 | 12:00am

In his autobiography, A Global Life: My Journey Among Rich and Poor, from Sydney to Wall Street to the World Bank, James Wolfensohn writes engagingly about his life and accomplishments. Although Wolfensohn was raised with little means, the hard-working Australian eventually spent two terms as president of the World Bank.
