Bluff Talk

Japan had an 11-foot tsunami wall in front of their plant—we see how well that protected their reactors. Where is Diablo’s wall? Even if it’s on a bluff, the extent, power, size, etc. is often enough underestimated, as we find out after the fact. Who can predict nature, anyway?

Tons of that bluff could collapse and be washed away.

The tsunami map recently published shows a small area of inundation for our town. Seeing more and more videos of Japan, and the mass and inertia of the water, I think to be on the safe side they should triple the area. These natural events don’t always correlate to formulas and test-tank models.
