The AAPI Service Award was presented during the association’s 2011 convention in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The Schmidts, 20 year members of the association, have sponsored several AAPI events and volunteered on behalf of the organization. Craig Schmidt served on the AAPI Board of Directors and as chair of the AAPI Trade Show Committee. Craig Schmidt, The Mats Guy, a local printing company, serves the Old Time Photo industry with a line of antique scroll-work mats and novelty posters.
AAPI is a professional association for photographers and vendors specializing in souvenir photography including antique or “Old Time Photos,” special events, historical reenactments, and amusement portraits. Members are located throughout the U.S. and Canada, as well as other countries.
