Now that we’ve had some proper rains, we can soon expect the rolling hills of our Central Coast to be blanketed in wildflowers. It’s one of the most visually brilliant occurrences our area has to offer. This April 7, folks can behold the medley of colors while gliding along in a vintage railcar. The trip begins and ends in Santa Barbara, turning around in San Luis Obispo. In addition to scenic views, there will be live acoustic guitar music on the journey back to town. Tickets are $69 per person. If you can’t make the April trek, you can sign up for the June 16 roundtrip ($129; reservation deadline is Apr. 30), which includes meals, wine, and live music.
