New Foundation to Honor Central Coast Youth

The successful candidate will receive a $1,000 award.

The Award will recognize one or more young persons from the Central Coast area for notable service to their community with demonstrated caring and support for others, including those less able to represent themselves. There is no restriction on use of the funds; uses of the award could include education, travel, or personal development time, but are not required. Successful candidates will have had an impact on individuals or in their communities within the past year, without expectation of financial reward. Nominees should be 18-25 years old, and active in Monterey, San Luis Obispo or Santa Barbara County. Funds are held for the foundation by Heritage Oaks Bank in Paso Robles.
