School District Hires Two New Assistant Superintendents

With one administrator retiring and another taking a principal position, schools superintendent David Cash is recruiting his own players. The school board approved hiring two new assistant superintendents. One, who will oversee elementary instruction, is Emilio Handall, a South Coast native and current principal of McKinley Elementary School. Ben Drati, who will oversee secondary schools, comes from Clovis West High School in the district that Cash previously led.
