The housing department matches host families of all different builds with international students this summer. EF calls for single parents, grandparents, singles, and families alike to be a family to students traveling to Santa Barbara from all over the world.

Summer 2012 brings students anywhere from two to fifty-two weeks to learn English. Age ranges this summer stretch from 12 year old students to travelers in their 70’s at EF International LanguageSchool, located at 1421 Chapala Street. This opportunity is open to residents of Goleta, Carpinteria,Summerland, and Santa Barbara to promote educational efforts. The company hopes to break downcultural barriers and promote career and cultural exchange opportunities—globally and locally.

EF Santa Barbara “merges people from around the world in order to further educate not only English but deepen the understanding of humanity from all around the world.” said Fysal Safieh, HousingDirector.

The chance to host international students entails countless mutual cultural learning opportunities. To learn more about our program and stipends offered to families to offset the cost of hosting, visit the website, email ef.sba@ef.com, or call 805 962 8680.
