Measure Y recently called for a bridge of 25 yards, and the measure failed quite miserably.

Some people might be interested in knowing that China recently completed a 26-mile bridge.

If there is any question as to why China is beating us, perhaps it is because they are able to build bridges that are 26 miles long, and our regulations and toadstool-loving philosophies prevent us from building bridges that are 25 yards long.
