Bilingual staff of the New Beginnings Counseling Center teach the classes. This pilot program already has 15 parents enrolled; depending on the continued positive response to this program, the agencies plan to provide this service on a year round basis.
Topics covered include communication skills, enhancing self esteem, learning how to discipline instead of punishment, appropriate expectations, education, and much more.
