Now in its 4th year, Chowder Fest presented by Food & Home Magazine has quickly become a mainstay on Santa Barbara’s festival circuit. Held at the Montecito Country Club on October 27, 2013 from noon to 3:00 pm, Santa Barbara Chowder Fest attracts dozens of restaurants competing for ‘Chowder Champ’ judged both by a professional panel and by festival attendees.

Enjoy an afternoon of fine wine, great beer, and a host of other delectable treats apart from award-winning Clam or Creative chowder. Early vendors include Arlington Tavern, Boathouse at Hendry’s Beach, Chase Restaurant, Chocolats du CaliBressan, Enterprise Fish Company, Figueroa Mountain Brewery, Finch and Fork, Firestone Walker Brewing Company, Giessinger Winery, Holdren’s Steaks & Seafood, Island Brewing Company, Jaffurs Wine Cellars, KCHEN Project, Lagunitas Brewing Company, Lazy Acres, Lucas & Lewellen Vineyards, Luna Olivo, Max’s Restaurant, Museum Cafe, New West Catering, Outback Steakhouse, Pacific Coast Honey, Riverbench Vineyard and Winery, Seawind Wines, Stolpman Wines, Three Pickles, UCSB Faculty Club, Verde Southwest Cuisine, Via Maestra 42, and Whitcraft Winery.

Proceeds benefit Legal Aid Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit that provides free help to those who have nowhere else to turn for legal protection against family violence, guardianships for minor children, housing discrimination, consumer fraud, financial abuse against elders or other vulnerable residents of Santa Barbara County.
