I have seen about a dozen of these young people get off the train at one time and go on down the track to find a “squat” and have been telling people for years that these are a different group than the usual local mentally ill and homeless indigents.

As far as I am concerned, they should get the same hospitality and kindness that my grandfather and uncles got when they were “bumming it” during the Great Depression. My ancestors were given a bunk, and a bowl of oatmeal in the morning, and taken to the city limits, and sent on their way.
