I cannot express in words how gloriously happy I am that our fiscally responsible and conservative City Council recently voted to spend only $348,000 for a new 200-square-foot bike station at the Transit Center. If my math is correct, that is only $1,740 per square-foot! Oh how easy it is to spend somebody else’s money so foolishly. For some absolutely insane reason, I have a suspicion a 200-square-foot structure could have been build a little cheaper!
