The Beer and Wine of Drugs

Why legalize pot? For the same reasons most bars in Carpinteria can’t serve anything stronger than beer and wine. Marijuana is the beer and wine of drug families. It is much weaker and much less harmful than all the other popular and commonly used legal and illegal drugs.

Legalizing it will cause stronger drugs to be used less often because the much weaker alternative will become more popular. Legalizing it will also put a lot of drug dealers out of business and end their tax-free source of income. This will go a long way to decrease gang activity and make them less alluring and popular to begin with.

Legalizing marijuana will also decrease the popularity and use of today’s most popular, much stronger, and much more addictive drugs such as heroin, meth, cocaine, liquor, Vicodin, and morphine, because it will be a legal and a much cheaper and less potent way to get high without the uncontrollable side effects and consequences the stronger and more addictive drugs come with.
