We are stunned to hear that anyone in Santa Barbara of all places, and when we are celebrating a Mexican tradition — Fiesta — would say they are celebrating those who are born here. Californians’ culture and tradition are Native American and Mexican. Whoever said such an ignorant thing should not be able to speak until they have taken first-year California History and passed a first-year test.
