The switch-hitting catcher from West Virginia went the distance behind the plate and swung a big bat in all three Santa Barbara victories last weekend. He had multiple hits in each game and compiled a .615 batting average (8-for-13) with four runs and five RBIs. On Sunday, he smashed the Foresters’ first home run of the season over the right-field fence at Pershing Park.
