Lompoc business owners Steve and Caryn Arrowood, owners of Montemar Wines, are putting their merchandise to good use for The Lompoc Theatre Project (LTP). During the month of May, they will donate 100 percent of the sales of 50 cases of their wine, 2012 Watch Hill Syrah (EBA) to the nonprofit corporation.

The Arrowood’s have offered to sell the cases of wine for $480 each which could generate a profit of $24,000 for the theater. The wine has a designation “EBA” (extended barrel aged), as it was aged for 34 months in 30-percent new French oak barrels.

“The wine is tasting great now and in the foreseeable future,” Arrowood said. “People can come in and taste it before they buy. Many people want to support the restoration of the theater, and this is a way to give $480 and get a case of wine that is valued at $480. It’s a win all around.”

Montemar Wines is located in the Lompoc Wine Ghetto, 1501 E. Chestnut Court, Suite E. Hours are from noon to 5 p.m. Thursday through Monday, and until 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
