From sublime vistas to intimate interiors, these paintings and photographs welcome the viewer into places of refuge, filling the gallery with a sense of calm.
Our artists’ close-up compositions crop out distracting noise. Fog hushes the coast, and paintings of lush gardens evoke the sound of rustling leaves. Reflections and layered translucent washes encourage contemplation.
