¡Acompáñanos en una celebración alegre y conmovedora en honor a nuestros queridos abuelos! Este evento especial por el Día de los Abuelos forma parte de nuestro programa Raíces y Sueños, el cual celebra el patrimonio cultural y las profundas raíces de nuestra comunidad.

Disfruta de un delicioso almuerzo proporcionado por El Taco, crea manualidades significativas inspiradas en culturas de todo el mundo y embárcate en un viaje inolvidable a través de la experiencia de realidad virtual Visiting VR. Esta experiencia interactiva transportará a nuestros adultos mayores a destinos impresionantes como Teotihuacán y la Ciudad de México en México, el Salto Ángel en Venezuela y Machu Picchu en Perú, lugares que quizás siempre soñaron con visitar o que desean revivir a través de sus recuerdos más preciados.

Con el apoyo de Santa Barbara County Action Network (SBCAN), este es un programa bilingüe (español/inglés) diseñado especialmente para personas mayores. Ya sea que asistan solos o acompañados, invitamos a los adultos mayores a que nos acompañen en esta celebración. También invitamos con cariño a niños, nietos y familiares a que los acompañen y compartan una mañana llena de alegría.

Los espacios para la experiencia de realidad virtual y el almuerzo están reservados exclusivamente para personas mayores.

Cupo limitado a 20 participantes en español y 20 participantes en inglés. Es necesario que te registres.

Si hay lugares disponibles al momento de empezar la experiencia de realidad virtual, se podrá ofrecer espacio a participantes que no sean adultos mayores.

Join us for a joyful and heartwarming celebration in honor of our beloved grandparents! This special Grandparents’ Day event is part of our Roots and Dreams program, which celebrates the cultural heritage and deep roots of our community.

Enjoy a delicious lunch provided by El Taco, create meaningful crafts inspired by cultures around the world, and embark on an unforgettable journey through the Visiting VR virtual reality experience. This interactive experience will transport our seniors to breathtaking destinations such as Teotihuacan and Mexico City in Mexico, Angel Falls in Venezuela, and Machu Picchu in Peru—places they may have always dreamed of visiting or wish to relive through their most cherished memories.
