A nationally recognized expert on infectious diseases, Dr. Osterholm co-founded the Vaccine Integrity Project in 2025 and is the author of THE BIG ONE: How We Must Prepare for Future Deadly Pandemics as well as two New York Times bestsellers, Living Terrors and Deadliest Enemy.
THE BIG ONE paints a grim portrait of what we stand to face, with historical data on past pandemics, clear-eyed evaluations into how society both succeeded and failed, along with hypothetical illustrations of the impact in stark detail.
