Public Hikes at Sedgwick Reserve

Join us for our December Public Access Day! Hike the mesas and valleys around the field station, explore prescribed fire recovery in the southwest corner, experience the impacts of wildfire firsthand with our fire ecology hike, or opt out of hiking entirely to enjoy independent creative time under the oaks!

During a docent-led, interpretive hike you will learn about flora, fauna, ecology, geology, history, and more as you immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of this beautiful landscape. We offer multiple hike levels to accommodate a diversity of abilities.
