You’re invited to the next meeting of Death Cafe Santa Barbara, in conjunction with The Center for Successful Aging.
Death Cafe Santa Barbara is a place to gather together in a relaxed and safe setting to discuss death; following the model developed by Jon Underwood and Sue Barsky Reid, based on the ideas of Bernard Crettaz.
Death Cafe offers:
- the discussion of death without agendas, objectives or themes; a discussion group rather than grief support or counseling.
- an accessible, respectful and confidential space.
- conversation without intentions of leading people to any conclusion, product or course of action.
- tea & nibbles.
We meet in the “Fireside Room” which is on the left as you face the church from the sidewalk. The door will be open. The church parking lot access is on State Street.
