Dirty Folk: Artwork & Ephemera by Lou Schad
Saturday, February 7, 4–7 PM
Lo-Fi Wines Tasting Room, Los Alamos, CA
Los Alamos, CA — Dirty Folk is a solo exhibition of artwork and ephemera by Lou Schad, opening Saturday, February 7, from 4–7 PM at Lo-Fi Wines Tasting Room in Los Alamos.
The exhibition brings together botanical paintings, ceramics, and other carefully crafted objects that celebrate beauty, imperfection, and the quiet poetry of the natural world.
Blending folk sensibility with refined handwork, Schad’s pieces feel both intimate and timeless—artifacts meant to be lived with, gifted, and cherished.
Timed just ahead of Valentine’s Day, Dirty Folk offers a thoughtful alternative to the expected, with original artworks available for purchase and well-suited as meaningful gifts.
Each piece reflects a reverence for process, material, and the small, often overlooked details that give everyday life its texture.
The exhibition invites visitors to experience the intersection of art, craft, and place within the relaxed setting of Lo-Fi Wines’ tasting room.
$10 pours, local DJ!
