Dennis Albert Stoner, Jr
Dennis Albert Stoner, Jr., was born on May 14, 1964, in Los Angeles, California, and peacefully passed away at age 60 on May 11, 2025, in Santa Barbara, California, surrounded by loved ones. He was larger than life in every way, living each day to the fullest and on his own terms. Beneath his tough facade was a wise and kind man—fiercely loyal, honest, and known for his sharp, sometimes unfiltered humor and strong integrity. A man of faith, he drew quiet strength from Christianity.
Growing up in Los Angeles, Dennis was a lively and competitive child, engaging in sports and building lifelong friendships. He graduated from Rosemead High School in 1983, leaving behind memories full of adventure, music, and brotherhood.
Sports remained a lifelong passion—especially golf. He embraced its philosophy—”golf is a game that can only be played, not won” —and found peace both on the course and in the journey. He was also a devoted Raiders, Dodgers, and Lakers fan, rarely missing any games.
He built a successful career as a Sales Representative, retiring from Jordano’s/Pacific Beverage Company after 24 years. Known for his charisma and drive, Dennis took pride in his work and the relationships he built along the way.
Dennis’s life was truly a beautiful love story centered around family. He is lovingly survived by his wife, Lidia Stoner, who was his partner for 25 wonderful years, his steady ground, and the one who knew him best. Together, they built a life full of love, strength, and unwavering support for each other, family, and friends, which will always be remembered—a legacy of unconditional love.
He was a proud father to Dennis, Melanie, and Natali, who carry forward his strength, values, and spirit. Becoming a father at a young age deeply shaped him, and despite life’s challenges, he remained committed to instilling in them the importance of hard work, accountability, loyalty, and love.
Nothing brought Dennis more joy than being a grandfather. He is lovingly remembered by Jazmine, Candace, Dojah, and Ezra, who were the light of his life and brought him endless happiness. He also held his beloved grandson, Orlando, close in his heart, who preceded him in passing—a reunion that brings a quiet sense of peace.
Dennis was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Mae Stoner, whose strength and love helped shape the man he became. He is survived by his brothers, James Michael Stoner, Robert Stoner, and Juan Carlos Arrevalo, with whom he shared a lifelong bond. He also leaves behind countless nephews and nieces, along with the extended Magaña family, all of whom were touched by his presence, humor, and deep sense of loyalty.
Although a year has passed, Dennis will always be remembered for his strength, loyalty, and the way he made others feel. His legacy lives on through the love, kindness, strength, and spirit that continues to thrive in family, friends, and those he touched with his larger-than-life presence. Watch over us—until we see you again.
