How can humanity engage with our most daunting challenges through the restorative power of play? We will explore how Mattel’s ten universal play patterns simplify the complex and invite collective agency and transformation within our common home.
Central to this work is the profound work of NASA showing the interconnected correlation between the Earth’s immune system and our own. Our wellness is tied to renourishing our shared ecosystem of the land upon which we walk, the water we drink and the air we breathe every day. By infusing play into our most urgent conversations, we unlock a hopeful pathway for resilience, renewal, and flourishing.
Cassandra Bates (MBA, Loyola Marymount) operates at the nexus of entertainment, science, and strategy. Having led transformative initiatives for Mattel, NASA, and Google, she specializes in scaling the power of imagination to bridge the gap between global complexity and human action.
