Robert E. Hewitt
1947 – 2026
In Loving Memory
Robert was a devoted husband, father, Pop Pop, uncle, and friend whose presence brought laughter, warmth, and strength to everyone who knew him. He shared 50 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Sheri Hewitt, and was a proud and loving father for 45 years.
He is survived by his wife, Sheri Hewitt; his son Robert Hewitt Jr. and wife Sarah Fernandez, along with their sons Kalab and Joe Fernandez; his son Ryan Hewitt and wife Lindsay Hewitt, along with their son Jace Hewitt; and his niece Michelle Hendrix and husband Jason, along with their sons Felix and Axel.
Robert proudly served in the United States Army. In his younger years, he loved surfing along the California coast, and for the past 20 years he found great joy playing bocce. He was a passionate sports fan, especially devoted to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Known for his dry sense of humor and easygoing spirit, Robert had a way of making people laugh without ever trying too hard. In his final days, he was surrounded by family, listening to favorites like The Righteous Brothers and The Beach Boys, singing “I Got You Babe” with the love of his life.
We miss him more than words can express. Forever in our hearts. Love you forever and
always.
