Bruce Nelson Kent
Bruce Kent passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by the love of his family.
Born in upstate New York, Bruce later made California his home while serving in the United States Air Force. He proudly served his country for 8 years before dedicating his professional life to serving others as a nurse. Throughout his career, he touched countless lives with his compassion, kindness, and commitment to caring for those in need.
While Bruce’s service to his country and community was admirable, his greatest pride and deepest devotion were always reserved for his family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose presence, wisdom, and unwavering love will be cherished forever.
Bruce is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Elizabeth Anne, and the beautiful family they created together: 6 children, 14 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother. Bruce’s legacy of service, compassion, and devotion to family will continue to live on through all who knew and loved him.
He will be honored with both a Military Honors Service and a Nurses Honor Guard tribute in recognition of his lifelong dedication to serving others.
