The Goleta Valley Art Association (GVAA): Summer Art Show and Sale at the Marketplace

The Goleta Valley Art Association (GVAA) will present its fifth annual Summer Show and Sale at the Marketplace. The art festival features original works by local artists on Saturday, June 20, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Camino Real Marketplace in Goleta. Sponsors include Art Essentials, Camino Real Marketplace, Limousine Link, and The Voice Magazine. 

The art show will be held in the outdoor food court area of the plaza and give visitors the opportunity to view and purchase the association’s artwork. Come and enjoy the music of local guitarist and artist Greg LeRoy, 12 – 3 p.m.

This year’s event features a huge art book sale to benefit ASAP (our after-school art program) for children in Goleta Union Schools. Our GVAA members teach art to children as part of our mission “To Bring Art To The Community”. 

A portion of proceeds of sales from the show will benefit Friends of the  Goleta Valley Library. Our old Goleta library is in need of funds to complete the interior renovation.

“We are so excited to have yet another show and sale at the Marketplace,” said Elizabeth Flanagan, president of the organization. “It’s a perfect opportunity for local residents and visitors to take home a piece of original art from members of the GVAA and learn about what we bring to the community.”
