Join NASA Solar System Ambassador Krissie Cook in Gladwin Planetarium at Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History to soak up the highlights from the most recent astronomical discoveries in an immersive, interactive experience. With content developed weekly based on the newest discoveries, you’ll be on the cutting edge of what we know, how we learn it, and where these discoveries could lead us. There’s so much to explore as we celebrate the fourth anniversary of the start of groundbreaking data from the James Webb Space Telescope, sift through 10 terabytes of data daily from the Rubin Observatory, and prepare for the August 30 launch of the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope.
Recommended for ages 16 and up, this course meets Thursdays, July 16–August 20, 5:15–6:15 PM.
General admission $150, Museum Members $120. Online registration is required.
