In Loving Memory

Lucy Vasquez passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family and enveloped in love.

Born on December 21, 1945, Lucy lived a life centered around faith, family, and the relationships she held most dear. Her love for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, was a source of strength throughout her life, and her family finds comfort knowing she is now at rest in His presence.

Lucy and her husband Ernesto shared 55 years of marriage and a love that began in childhood and endured even after his passing. Together, they raised their children, watched their family grow through generations, and created a life that brought Lucy her greatest happiness.

Lucy was, in every sense of the word, the matriarch of her family. She loved deeply and found her greatest joy in simply being together – the conversations, laughter, celebrations, traditions, and everyday moments that became treasured memories.

She cherished the incredibly close bonds she shared with her sisters and the lifelong friends who became an extension of family. Those relationships, built over decades of love, laughter, loyalty, and shared memories, meant the world to her.

Lucy is survived by her children, Louise and Tony Salaiz, Larry Vasquez, Steven and Jerry Stanek, Albert and Lydia Vasquez, and Lucinda Vasquez, along with her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

There is no replacing the place Lucy held within her family. She leaves behind generations shaped by her love, a lifetime of memories, and a legacy that will live on.
