- Friday, November 13: 6:00-9:00 pm (Optional: Join for setup at 4:30 PM and a group dinner from Organic Soup Kitchen at 5:00 PM. Ceremony begins promptly at 6:00 PM.)

- This community ritual is non-denominational and is not affiliated with St. Mark’s Church; however, we are grateful for their generosity in allowing us to use their space.
- Reservations: This event is free, with donations welcomed. Once you register, more information about what to bring and how to prepare will be sent
The Power of Ritual
Grief, when honored, can be a profound teacher—deepening our capacity for love, connection, and renewal. By acknowledging and honoring our grief, we can open to it, experience it, and move through it.
This ritual is not about fixing or analyzing grief. It is about witnessing, honoring, and allowing — held in the steady presence of drums, song, movement, and community. Based on the teachings from Sobonfu Somé, Malidoma, Patrice Somé, Joanna Macy, Martín Prechtel, and others. This is an invitation to tune in, release, and let go in a community container of care.
