The day after 9/11 was a day to remember! That morning, people woke up and put petty differences and animosities aside. People came together to support one another in the face of tragedy.
There was a palpable sense of hope and unity for our neighbors and fellow citizens as good-will flourished throughout the Nation.
That was a time to remember.
Younger people should know that there was a time of great kindness and generosity in our Nation that is not so evident today. That was a Great America!
