Join 3C-REN, AIA Santa Barbara, the Central Coast Green Building Council, and the Community Environmental Council (CEC) for a Carbon Smart Construction happy hour exploring the connection between water use, energy use, and building carbon impacts.
Michelle Zimney of In Balance Green Consulting and Natasha Elliot of Sweet Smiling Landscape Design will lead a conversation on practical ways to reduce water use through efficient indoor fixtures and equipment, landscape design, and graywater systems.
Attendees will gain a better understanding of the energy-water nexus, explore water-saving strategies and recycled water options, and see how these approaches can be applied across project types.
