Santa Barbara Half Marathon presented by HOKA & 5K
Lace up, Santa Barbara! The sixth annual Santa Barbara Half Marathon presented by HOKA brings 7,500+ runners from across California, the U.S. and around the world for a tour of the city’s waterfront, Funk Zone and historic downtown. Whether you’re chasing a PR, walking with friends, or cheering from the curb, race day is the city’s biggest running party of the year.
Running for a cause: Since 2021, Run Local and SB Half participants have raised more than $250,000 for local organizations through the event’s partnership with the Santa Barbara Running Association, the official beneficiary.
Everyone’s invited: You don’t need a bib to join the fun. Spectating, the Race Expo and the Funk Zone Finish Line Festival are free and open to the public. Line the course with a sign and a cowbell, swing by the Expo [day/time/location], then head to the Finish Line Festival on Yanonali St. (opens 8am) for live music, local partners and post-race celebrations.
