More Defendants in Farmers Market Lawsuit

An anti-trust lawsuit filed against the Santa Barbara Certified Farmers Market Association has been amended to name, among other additions, new defendants who the plaintiffs allege are abusing their board positions for personal economic gain by limiting competition.

Supes Pick New Jail Consultants

Chumash Make Major Donation to Search Dog Foundation

The Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Indians has donated $150,000 to Ojai’s Search Dog Foundation, an organization that trains canine-firefighter teams to search for and rescue people buried alive underneath wreckage in disaster locations.
