Remember Healthy Food Choices?

The federal government does not require that genetically modified food be labeled as such. What’s more, it actively forbids non-GM labeling. But signatures are now being gathered for a ballot measure that would require labeling of genetically engineered food sold in California’s retail outlets.

Mothers for Peace Scholarships

The San Luis Obispo Mothers for Peace annually offers two scholarships. An award of $500 is made to a graduating high school senior, and a $1,000 scholarship is awarded to a college or university upper class student.
