Just one day after union workers staged coordinated “last chance” pickets, negotiators announced tentative agreements covering roughly 40,000 employees across all 10 UC campuses, including UC Santa Barbara.
About 300 unionized UC workers marched through campus Thursday in a coordinated statewide action organizers described as a “last chance” signal to university leaders.
At UCSB, the affected workers include graduate student instructors and teaching assistants, academic researchers, undergraduate academic advisors, admissions coordinators, and other professional staff.
