Annual Foot Washing Event

This April 3rd, Doctors Without Walls – Santa Barbara Street Medicine invites you to our Annual Foot Washing Event.

This is a special year for us—we have not held this event since 2020 at the Veterans Memorial Building, and we are incredibly excited to bring it back.

We are deeply grateful for all of our sponsors who are making this day possible, including Deckers for generously donating their amazing lineup of shoes.

Our patients walk miles every day—through hardship, uncertainty, and resilience.

This day is dedicated entirely to them: a chance to slow down, be cared for, and receive undivided attention from a community that sees them.

The heart behind this event is simple, yet powerful:
• To build genuine human connection—reminding each person they are seen, heard, loved, and cared for
• To connect or reconnect individuals with vital social services through our Community Resource Center

Throughout the day, patients will receive foot washing, a hot meal, socks, new shoes, and access to showers through Showers of Blessings.

Doctors Without Walls will also be providing medical services, alongside additional support from our partner organizations—making this a truly meaningful day to care for our patients in whatever needs they may have.
