The changing light of the season is a reminder that the holidays will soon be here!
The holidays are often a time to explore some time with family and friends.
What better way than to spend a little time with the lively and invigorating family of back extensions (purva pratana sthiti).
After a short break, we will spend some time with some nurturing calming asanas to help us calmly sail into the holiday season.
*Students should have a minimum of 6 months of Iyengar Yoga practice.
Please be familiar with inversions and back extensions.
While guidance, adjustments and adaptations will be provided, if required, participants must be able to independently self navigate in a general class environment.
Garth McLean is a senior level Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher, Certified Yoga Therapist and Approved Professional Development Provider with the International Association of Yoga Therapists (C-IAYT), and a Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 55) and Continuing Education Provider (YACEP) with Yoga Alliance.
He is a published author of Yoga and Multiple Sclerosis, A Practical Guide for People with MS and Yoga Teachers (Singing Dragon Books, London 2020).
Based in Los Angeles, Garth offers public classes and specialty courses, locally and internationally.
