Chaucer’s Books (3321 State Street) hosts a children’s storytime with Taran Collis, the author of Dinosaurs Do Yoga Too.
Book Description

Dinosaurs Do Yoga Too is the third book in the Mindful Adventures for the Family Series. On a bright, sunny day, our Dino friend Rex the T-Rex, is excited to play. He searches everywhere for his friends Tara the Dactyl, Brock the Saurus and Veloci the Raptor. While Rex searches for them, he experiences a range of emotions, from excitement to disappointment, when no one can play with him.
Luckily, with help from the kids from the village nearby, Rex learns yoga and mindfulness practices he can do on his own. Through movement, breath, sound effects, and positive affirmations, Rex learns how to soothe big feelings and build confidence for himself.
Readers of all ages are invited to experience a heart-centered, somatic story to explore emotional awareness, self-regulation and boost self-esteem – while reminding us of a powerful truth: As we look for friends and BFFs too, remember the most important one is YOU
