Join Explore Ecology for Crafternoons!
Let your imagination go wild every Wednesday from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm and Saturday from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm at Crafternoons in the EE Makerspace above Art From Scrap. Perfect for kids ages 5 and up, these projects use reclaimed materials in fun and surprising ways. Out theme for July is Nature Nurturers.
July Projects include:
Explorer Binoculars – Any seasoned explorer knows that binoculars are an excellent way to observe nature, so make your own with cardboard tubes, beads, and other recycled materials!
Field Notebooks – Using cardboard, recycled paper, and creative reuse decorations, you can create your very own scientific field notebook, perfect for nature walk.
Litter Bugs – Make your own litter bug with recycled materials. Create new critters and keep scraps out of our landfills.
Cost: $8.00 per person.
Please note our workshop is upstairs and uses hot glue guns. Adults must remain in the EE Makerspace with their child.
We have something for everyone at the EE Makerspace, so bring the kiddos— Crafternoons are just for them.
See you soon for your next crafting adventure!
