CREATIVE RESISTANCE/The Artists Perspective on Our Changing World: Group exhibition explores visions on our changing world. 

Santa Barbara — August 8th and August 9th 2025

“Creative Resistance/The Artists Perspective on Our Changing World” is a two-day exhibition that brings together 40 + artists, each presenting a single work that reflects their perception, reaction, and vision for resistance in our current era. Featuring works across painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media, and installation, this exhibition aims to provide a powerful platform for creative expression, engaging the community in a dialogue about the role of art in times of upheaval.

Opening reception is August 8th 5:00pm to 8:00pm.

Exhibit will run through August 9th 12:30pm to 4:00pm

The Exhibit will be held at the: Santa Barbara Community Arts Workshop – 631 Garden Street, Santa Barbara CA 93101. 

 

This independent event provides a space where art becomes a tool for reflection, resistance, and social change.
