Dinner & Standup Comedy @ Wine Cask Gold Room 4/11

Intermezzo Restaurant and standup comic Carol Metcalf are opening the historic Wine Cask Gold Room at El Paseo for an evening of dinner and comedy, beginning Saturday, April 11, 2026.

This and future shows feature professional comic headliners from Los Angeles, Santa Barbara and the Central Coast. The April 11 show’s lineup features:

Carol Metcalf is the star and producer of the show. Carol has been exciting Santa Barbara audiences for twenty years as a standup comic and SAG actor.

Prior to coming to Santa Barbara, Carol was a regular at The Comedy Store and the Groundlings, and she performed at the LA Improv. Carol has appeared on Comedy Central and with Chelsea Handler on Girls Behaving Badly.

Maddy Fossatti is the show’s MC. Maddy is a professional voice actor, music teacher specializing in trombone, and standup comic. She runs regular trivia nights in Santa Barbara.

Josh Spear is an amazing comic who moved to LA from New Jersey. Josh has been stirring up Santa Barbara audiences with his audacious, high-energy humor and often headlines Carol’s comedy shows.

Keith Ross Nelson is an actor, writer and comic based in LA who’s been cracking up audiences worldwide for 30 years. Keith offers ironic perspectives on his real-life experiences that will have you laughing at the similarities to your life.

Victoria Charters is a local SAG actor, filmmaker and comic who came to LA from Australia to forge her acting career. She moved to Santa Barbara, studied comedy with Carol and has shot documentaries at Burning Man to help spread the craziness to wider audiences.
