CALL TO ACTION: FIGHT The Trump Takeover National Day of Protest, this Saturday August 16.
SANTA BARBARA LOCATION: Sidewalk rally on Upper State Street, both sides of the street between Hitchcock and Hope, from 10 am to noon.
You’ve seen the news: Trump ordered Texas to redraw its electoral map to deliver him 5 more U.S. House seats in the 2026 election. But he won’t stop there. He’s targeting Missouri, Ohio, and other red states to help him steal Congress. We can’t let that happen.
This is a political emergency. Trump’s allies are undermining fair elections, silencing voters of color, and holding entire communities hostage to push their political agenda. We need action—not just in Texas, but everywhere. That’s why we’re part of a National Day of Action on Saturday, August 16, joining our friends in Texas to fight back.
