A program started in LA over 25 years ago by Tereza Ortega-Franco, this 2026 seminar initiative launches a series with effort to respond to the public’s need for information about law by educating and sharing equal access to the our legal system. Realizing that many of legal entanglements and everyday encounters with discord are infused because of ignorance about law, this initiative is graciously hosted by United Methodist Church under its commitment to social justice and presented by State Bar attorneys.
Our first seminar will focus on 2026: New Laws. Attorney will explain and help audience understand its ramifications. Seminar will start with Pastor Finau’s introduction and blessing, there will be a break followed by Q&A and ending with the benediction.
The series runs for six months with topics ranging from Your Powers: Wills & Trusts, Contractual Relationships, Landlord Tenant Happiness and more!
