A new concert experience is launching in Santa Barbara this December, inviting the community to slow down and reconnect through the union of stillness and sound.
Music & Meditation Santa Barbara debuts Friday, December 5, 2025 at 2 p.m. at Weinman Hall, Music Academy of the West.
Created by pianist Antonio Artese and mindfulness guide Jessica Kolbe, the series blends a short guided meditation with a live classical performance in an intimate format designed to restore balance and deepen listening.
The opening program features music by Bach, Grieg, Scriabin, and Silvestrov.
“Our intention is to offer Santa Barbara a place of clarity and beauty,” says Artese. Kolbe adds, “People come to pause, breathe, and reconnect.”
Tickets are $25 and limited to 60 guests.
