Hey now, come and join the party, it’s gonna be a chompin’, rockin’ and groovin’ good time at SOhO on Saturday night, February 28th with No Simple Highway & The Alligators!
Since 2014, Santa Barbara-based No Simple Highway has been paying tribute to the music of the Grateful Dead, Jerry Garcia and beyond and has built a reputation for performing dynamic sets with special attention to vocals, improvisation and setlists that draw from the Dead & Jerry’s vast catalog and history.
NSH shows are a celebration full of good vibes and good people! It’s always a great time at SOhO, and NSH is proud to call SOhO, the finest music club for miles around, their home court, and to welcome back their good friends, The Alligators, to the SOhO stage!
Emerging out of the swamps of Southern California in 2017, The Alligators were formed to celebrate the music of early Grateful Dead,“Pigpen era” Blues, R&B, and beyond!
…With over 100 shows, and multiple yearly Festivals, spanning 8 states: Simply put, The Alligators are here to party hard and Rock you!
The bands repertoire consists of high-octane, whiskey-soaked versions of the often-neglected Pigpen songs that are the bedrock foundation of the Grateful Dead.
They don’t stop there, however, and one is never sure what may materialize in their improvisational barn-burning performances.
Fans and critics alike have raved on how they’ve mashed classic Grateful Dead catalogue songs, then navigate in and out of colossal improv jams, sometimes consisting of R&B Classics / Stadium Rock anthems – to incendiary Blues standards.
The Alligators are praised for their High-Energy Stage performance and play year-round spreading the gospel of ass shakin’, Swamp-rockin’ Jam Music!
